Stuart Willson and Gary Redman on the podium at Brands Hatch

The weekend of 18-19th May saw the inaugral weekend of the new Ferrari UK Challenge Series of racing, and it was a weekend to remember for many reasons.

Graypaul Nottingham had two drivers on the grid, and both finished on the podium on Sunday after a hard-fought race. Both Gary Redman and Stuart Willson led the Coppa Shell race at various stages, but it was Stuart Willson who emerged victorious

Stuart Willson surged from 3rd to 1st place for his maiden victory. The Indy configuration of the the Brands Hatch track undoubtedly favoured a spectacle and close racing around the entire 1.944 km circuit.

We now look ahead to 22-23rd June for the second race weekend at Snetterton.
