When Mr Bridge purchased this stunning 1969 365 GT 2+2 from us here at Graypaul Nottingham in November 2017, he knew it was a special car and wanted to give it the best possible treatment.

The car was a little rough around the edge in places, but was in wonderful patinated original condition. Our team embarked on a sympathetic mechanical restoration. The engine was rebuilt, along with the suspension, steering, brakes, fuel and ignition systems.

The car has been transformed with all of this work. The bodywork still requires some attention, which will be taken care of whilst the car is off the road for the winter period. It is due a complete respray and some rechroming work done, so it will look good as new once again when completed.

As the car was to original specification, no work was required for the car to be Classiche certified. By going through the Classiche scheme Mr Bridge was able to ensure that once refurbished, this cherished 365 was as close as possible to what was delivered to its first owner almost 50 years ago.

You can read more about this car and the project in October's Ferrari Owners Club magazine.
